Meet Your Host
👋 I’m Larissa, founder of Open Invite Co.
I got my start in hospitality interior design and went on to co-found an award-winning design firm in Portland before shifting into the world of creative content, social, and brand marketing. Along the way, a longtime love of wine turned into formal education and a well-rounded view of the industry and how brands connect.
Alongside Open Invite Co, I also own and run a successful vacation cabin in Cannon Beach, Oregon: The Haystack Haus, a passion project that blends my love of design and hospitality.
I share life with my husband and our two dogs: Cosmo Kramer (a pug with opinions) and El Guapo (a shepherd mix who may or may not be part kangaroo).
The hardest thing I’ve ever done is traverse the Grand Canyon and back in one go, aka R2R2R, which included a bit of running and a lot of existential reflection.
